A healthy ovary in a pre-menopausal woman is, I think, around 3.5cm long.  The pretzels represent a (healthy) ovary.  With the help of my ever-loyal Dad, I found a potato that approximates the size of the vascular mass located on my left ovary.  He is 94 x 44 x 110mm.  Quite bizarre that there’s something the size of a very large King Edward potato lodged in my mid-line of my pelvis.
