A decade ago I had just woken up from life-changing surgery.
A decade and 880 oestrogen patches since a baked potato sized ovarian tumour and its secondary spread was removed from my abdomen, along with a lot more of my insides.
A decade and one day ago I was told I had stage two ovarian cancer and given a five-year prognosis.
A decade and five days ago I was told it was a borderline ovarian tumour and that life could go on.
A decade of love and support from family, friends and colleagues.
Thank you to each and every one of you xxx

A healthy ovary is the size of a mini pretzel.
My left ovary was taken over by a tumour the size of a baked potato.
